On the anniversary of the birth of Dr. France Prešerna, on Wednesday, December 3, many national and municipal cultural institutions will reopen their doors, and there will be free performances, exhibitions, concerts, lectures, guided tours and workshops.
Over the years, the initiative "This happy day of culture" has grown into a massive cultural event and joyful celebration of Prešeren's birthday, which combines accessibility and people's desire for culture in the most beautiful way. This year, approximately 350 diverse, free events will take place in more than 60 places across Slovenia.
