On Saturday, December 3, many cultural institutions will reopen their doors; museums, galleries, theaters, libraries and other institutions, there will be free exhibitions, guided tours, workshops, performances and concerts.
V Prešeren's year 2000 the Ministry of Culture started with the initiative of the day open doors of Slovenian cultural institutions. Over the years, the initiative has transformed into This happy day of culture and grew into a massive cultural event and joyful celebration on December 3, Prešeren's birthday.

Also this year they will be on Saturday, December 3rd, many opened their doors national and municipal cultural institutions, they will line up free shows (some of which require free tickets), exhibitions, concerts, lectures, guided tours and workshops. Slovenians from Zameje also joined the joyful celebration Bazovici near Trieste and on Municipalities.
