From August 28 to December 3, the popular graphics biennale will be held in Ljubljana, which this year will mark its 60th anniversary since the beginning of its operation in 1955. The 31st international graphics biennial will be held under the central theme "Above you/you".
This year's 31st International Graphic Biennale will be from August 28 to December 3 celebrated his 60th birthday. It took place for the first time in 1955 and thus put Ljubljana on the map of artistic events in Europe.

The central idea of this year's biennale was hastily written in the corner of a drawing by the German contemporary artist Martin Kippenberger, and it reads "Above you/you". This year's biennale curator Nicola Lees will be at the central exhibition, which will be accompanied by numerous artistic events and accompanying exhibitions, including the exhibition of the winners of the previous, 30th Biennale, which will combine traditional and modern forms of graphic production, and in doing so will seek their common political and aesthetic basis.
