Frida (2002)
Frida Kahlo was an interesting artist with an extraordinary personality. Unruly, strong and full of life, she entered the history of art only after a serious traffic accident, which, according to her, affected her just as much as her husband Diego Rivera.
Basquiat (1996)
The film is about the violent rise of the star of contemporary art – Jean-Michel Basquiat. The hit of last year's Cannes Film Festival presents the unusual private life of a talented painter who had two children with a widow he did not marry, and at the same time lived in another household with a maid. The famous artist is in the movie Mr. Turner was played by Timothy Spall, who also received the prestigious Palme d'Or for his phenomenal work.
Factory Girl (2006)
The movie Factory Girl introduces us to the relationship between pop-art legend Andy Warhol and his muse Edie Sedgwick. It takes us to the 60s, to Andy's Factory, where it enthralls us with the eccentric life of a duo played by Sienna Miller and Guy Pearce.
