"I don't have time" is a common excuse for eating unhealthy and neglecting your own health. Good news! With the tricks and tips that we will present to you in the article, healthy eating will not take up too much of your time - just as much or even less than waiting in line for a burek or a slice of pizza.
1. Cook several dishes at once and double the quantity.
Roasted or boiled vegetables, soups and fries mixed with vegetables are healthy and light meals. Always cook more dishes, double or triple them and store in vacuum containers in the refrigerator. This technique also comes in handy when preparing chickpeas, brown rice or quinoa. You can also add salad. Once you get used to always having healthy food at hand, you will easily prepare a healthy lunch to take with you to work. And you'll save another euro.
2. Make a hummus spread (cooked chickpeas, olive oil, lemon, tahini and any spices) and salad dressing once a week and keep in the fridge.
A raw carrot or cucumber in combination with hummus is a healthy and tasty snack. You can also add some hummus to your salad. Also, skip the chemical-laden and processed salad dressing and make your own instead. Try with dressing with sun-dried tomatoes or with mango mayonnaise.
3. Make breakfast already in the evening!
Making breakfast in the evening means that all you have to do in the morning is open the fridge and eat it. You can do it delicious chia pudding (soak chia seeds in almond milk) or chia pudding with strawberries.
You can also soak overnight oatmeal in non-dairy milk (almond, rice, coconut) and then add some healthy sweetener and any fruit or berry. Simple, healthy and delicious.

It will give you fruit much-needed energy and nutrients.
5. Make a shopping list and go shopping once a week.
Another common excuse for not eating healthy is that we don't have time to go shopping for healthy food. However, if you will planned meals for the coming week (and remember, you are cooking double and triple quantities) and you are done shopping list, you can only go to the store once and that's for the weekend.
This will be for you saved a lot of time and energy, plus – plenty of healthy food in your fridge and cupboards will force you to cooked and ate at home more often.
