There are currently four major fast food chains in Slovenia, but these are far from all that Slovenians want. These are "fast foods", which for now do not exist in our country, but which most people want.
These are just a few of the fast food chains that we want in Slovenia.
Starbucks
The American coffee chain was founded in Seattle in 1971 by three partners: an English teacher, a history teacher and a writer. Today, there are thousands of cafes all over the world, and in addition to coffee, they also offer desserts, salads, sandwiches and anything else. Our closest office is in Vienna.
Pret a Manger
The British sandwich shop today has around 500 premises in nine countries, and its beginnings date back to 1983. The name of the shop is based on prêt-à-porter, which means "ready to wear" in French, and Prêt à Manger then means " ready to eat”. The emphasis is on freshly prepared food and organic ingredients.
Pizza Hut
The American restaurant chain and international franchise was founded in 1958 by Dan and Frank Carney. The chain is known for its Italian-American menu, where you can find both pasta and pizza, as well as sides and desserts. It is located in more than 16 thousand locations around the world.
Krispy Kreme
The donut cafe and bakery has its roots in North Carolina, USA, and today it has more than 1,000 stores open around the world, the closest to us being in Great Britain. Krispy Kreme is known for its excellent, delicious donuts and other desserts. Of course, they also serve coffee and other drinks.
Domino's
This American pizza chain also has its beginnings in the 60s of the last century. In February of this year, it became the largest seller of pizzas in the world and in the United States (in terms of pizzas sold). In the foreground is home delivery.
Häagen-Dazs
The American ice cream brand was founded in 1961 in New York by Reuben and Rose Mattus. Today, ice creams can also be found at Slovenian merchants, but we do not have their store, where they offer various ice cream delicacies.
