Today, the 66th Berlinale film festival begins in Berlin. The president of the jury this year is the actress Merly Streep, and the honorary golden bear for lifetime achievements will be awarded to the German filmmaker Michael Ballhaus. The festival will be opened by the film Hail, Caesar! They will also pay tribute to the recently deceased Alan Rickman and David Bowie.
66th Berlinale Film Festival will take place this year between February 11 and 21. The president of the jury will be an American actress Merly StreepGerman actor Lars Eidinger, film critic Nick James, French photographer Brigitte Lacombe, British actor Clive Oven, Italian actress Alba Rohrwacher and Polish director Małgorzata Szumowska will also participate in the jury. This year's Berlinale will be opened by a film by the Coen brothers Hail, Caesar!
As part of the Berlinale film festival, a film fair will also be organized at which they will be under the brand Central European Cinema (CEC) also presented Slovenian films: film Nika directed by Slobodan Masimović, Mom directed by Vlad Škafar and The pulse of love directed by Boris Petković.
