The memory never came back, but Kim didn't give up: he stayed with Krickitt until she fell in love with him again.
Anna and the King (Anna and the King, 1999)
The film is based on the memoirs of teacher, traveler and public figure, Anna Leonowens. Namely, in the 1860s, Anna taught the English language and English culture to 39 wives and 82 children of King Mongkut for more than 5 years. Anna, played by Jodie Foster in the film, built a reputation as a wise visionary, often having to defend her views.

This is how she meets Denys Finch Hatton, a hunter and traveler. Despite major differences in their interests and tastes, Karen and Denys become involved in a whirlwind romance. The film, in which Karen is played by the incomparable Meryl Streep, has been awarded seven Oscars.
