Kurtzman and Morgan have been responsible for quite a few very successful franchises over the years - Kurtzman worked on Transformers, Star Trek and Mission: Impossible as a screenwriter or producer, and Morgan is one of the main writers of the Fast and Furious saga. The latter were joined by producer Sean Daniel, who also produced the Mummy trilogy.
