We're sure you've experienced it before! Have you heard or felt your phone vibrate? And when you checked, there wasn't a ghost on it or a hearing about a new notification? That's because you're hallucinating.
That's right, you read that right. What nine out of ten people suffers from the so-called "Phantom Vibration Syndrome", for which philosopher and assistant professor at the Georgia Institute of Technology Robert Rosenberger believes that it is a "learned physical habit".
Rosenberger explained to the BBC that it is well known to everyone vibrating, which we could have sworn we just heard or felt, actually hallucination, which can be attributed a burning desire for notice.

There are several explanations for this: some say that technology such as smartphones it changes our brains and creates specific cognitive pathways that then cause phone vibration sensations.
Another theory says that we are all the time on thorns and we expect messages, notifications, e-mails, etc. and therefore we are much more subject to the syndrome of imaginary vibrations.
Rosenberger said we've become so untethered to technology that we're with it also changed their body.
If you want to heal yourself of imaginary vibrations, change your habits. Turn off vibrate. True, you may miss a call because of it, but one missed call is less unpleasant than thinking that people are trying to reach us when they really aren't.
