London's black cabs already have iconic status, somewhat like their bigger brothers, the red double-decker buses. And it was only a matter of time before we would see them in electric form as well. They are now with us, and with their noticeable LED headlights, they clearly herald a cleaner and more ecological future.
Company London Taxi was renamed to London Electric Vehicle Company and turned its power into electricity. The diesel versions of the taxis are therefore being phased out and will be replaced electrical versions with small gasoline power generators that will be able to travel up to approx 650 kilometers and travel the distance without any leaks 110 kilometers.
For city centers, this is more than an excellent choice, as individual taxi routes are short, and thanks to generators, long stops at electric charging stations are also unnecessary. The company even estimates that an individual taxi driver will save more than a month with this hybrid car 450 euros of fuel compared to the diesel version of the London Taxi. He will not be the only one to receive innovation London, we will be able to meet such taxis even after other European and even world cities. We will all benefit from this, as the air will be cleaner and life will be healthier. Who knows, maybe because of the low consumption of petroleum products the price taxi fares drop by a few cents.
