The popular sports brand adidas presents an advanced model of running shoes, developed with the help of the latest 3D technology, which brings a revolution to the world of running equipment. It was designed in collaboration with professional athletes, taking into account their needs and wishes, and thus created a product that opens up completely new dimensions of running.
In partnership with the company Carbon adidas has been developing the technology for four years 4D mesh inserts, using collected user data and light-assisted digital carbon synthesis technology. This makes adidas' 4D footwear among the first in the world to offer the possibility of adapting the shoes to individual movement patterns, which brings comfort at every step.
Among more than 5 million possible variations, adidas found a unique sole cell design that compresses in only one direction - forward. Every time the foot touches the ground, there is a braking force, midsole 4DFWD however, it reduces the latter and converts energy upon contact into forward movement and ensures smooth transitions between movements. In addition, it allows more than three times stronger push forward and 23 percent more comfort compared to previous generations of 4D, which is also confirmed by vertical load measurements during mechanical testing.
The mesh structure of the sole is reminiscent of images from nature, and adidas has long been committed to a sustainable approach when choosing component materials. The slipper is thus made of wood 40 percent natural and renewable materials, which contributes to the reduced consumption of the mentioned resources and less pollution of the environment with plastic.
adidas 4DFWD are on sale in stores adidas shop and Intersport in Slovenia. More information about the shoes and sales points is available on the website 4dfwd.si, where there is also a prize activation where participants can compete for new limited edition 4DFWD running shoes.
