Alexander bistro, a new culinary spot located in Maribor, is the personal project of Klemno and Ana Flisar. They have created a carefully equipped bistro that offers healthy breakfasts, seasonal bowls and cult Alexander burgers.

Where is it today Alexander bistro, was once a shoe store. The space as such was not adapted to a restaurant. Ana and Klemen kept quite a few elements of the room - for example, the original flooring (stone marble), which we then included oiled oak parquet, which is also the red thread of the entire interior. Also, they are all original arches and a mighty column in the middle of the bar, which now has a new function, namely a cozy seat. Above all, it was important to them to preserve the cultural heritage of the area.
Alexander bistroAll the chairs are retro - used, refurbished and back in use. They left part of the chairs in their original form, that is chairs by Nika Kralja, and some of the chairs were covered in colorful velvet. Some tables in the bar and in the garden are also handwork – made of mosaic and classic white tiles.
Handiwork at Alexander BistroAlexander Bistro is, as we have already mentioned, an extremely personal projectt. And so is the offer. There are no advertising materials in the bar, nor is the karsed offer local and domestic. They are always looking for quality and a story. For example, they cold-press fresh every morning 100% natural juices no added sugar. Some of them are in the regular offer, some are limited editions that are created based on access to fresh ingredients. It's a sales hit, for example ginger shot (100% natural cold-pressed ginger and 100% natural cold-pressed lemon), which has been known abroad for decades as a healthy invigorator or immune booster boost. Their coffee is also roasted by agreement with local micro roasters. They launched so recently pink latte, pink coffee, which is extremely well received. Everything is prepared in their kitchen, no drink is prepared with pre-prepared powders or artificial syrups, as well as the wine list is local.
Pink latterThe food offer is light bistro style - they offer it for breakfast colorful open toasts, and for lunches and dinners healthy bowls and theirs iconic burgers, which the people of Maribor already know from the Alexander food truck.
