On Saturday, August 4, 2012, Artmarket Ljubljana will host the first of numerous outdoor exhibitions that will take place regularly (every non-rainy Saturday) as part of the XIII. Artmarket Ljubljana. Every Saturday until October 13, 2012, one author - one of the participants in the project - will present himself on a larger surface and with a larger number of products, thus offering a more detailed insight into his creation.
The "Artmarket exhibition" is just another addition to the varied offer of creators from all over Slovenia, who present themselves every Saturday at Breg in Ljubljana.
At the creative workshop between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., you and Eva and David will be able to try your hand at pottery and modeling clay. We invite all generations to the workshop! Free of charge.
About the current author of the exhibition "AM exhibition #1":
Jože Koželj was born in 1963 in Kranj. He began to show his artistic flair as a carpenter, as the final appearance was always extremely important to him.
He has been working with woodworking for about ten years and during this time he had two solo exhibitions and participated in several group exhibitions. Every year, he also proudly participates in the exhibition in Cankarjev dom with dr. Franc Pohlevno (The Charm of Wood). In addition, he studies with the renowned sculptor Dragica Čadež in workshops entitled "Sculpting in wood".
Jože wrote: "Wood gives warmth, not only with fire, but also with the beauty of its colors, shapes, smells..."
This time, Jože Koželj will present himself in the pleasant shade of chestnuts at the first "AM exhibition #1", which will take place on Saturday, August 4, 2012, as part of XIII. Artmarket in Breg on the Ljubljanica.
Jože has been participating in Artmarket Ljubljana for many years, where he happily mingles with other creators, visitors and friends and exchanges opinions about art with them.
