The 30-foot-tall and luminous sculpture The Kelpies in Falkirk, Scotland, consisting of a pair of enormous horse heads, was erected by artist Andy Scott.
Andy Scott is on the project The Kelpies worked for nine years, everything from design to assembly on site. Busts in which he inserted all the steel parts with his own hands, they represent the legendary Scottish water spirit, which has the shape of a horse. Colorful lights inside and around the statues, they give wonderful lighting and shapes in the dark, which only enhances the beauty of the Scottish landscape. Artist Scott, who placed the sculpture in his father's birthplace Falkirk, characterized his project as a modern sculptural monument which preserves heritage areas in proud horses - a symbol of modern Scotland, proud and majestic, a symbol of the people and the land.
