"Art is something you can take away cheaply" - Andy Warhol

The rise of Andy Warhol began with his first work, when he was a commercial artist at Glamor magazine and already there he received a series of awards and recognitions. But today he is recognizable mainly by the creation that followed after this period. And also according to his statements. "Art is something you can take away cheaply," is just one of them. The most common elements of his creation are advertisements, comics and celebrities, and among the techniques he often used the technique of reproducing images with screen printing. His first solo exhibition featured 32 identical (yet different) cans of Campbell's soup. The "still life" in the form of 210 differently filled Coca Cola bottles was just as popular. Although Warhol did not explain his works, he explained his vision of Coca Cola in such a way that it could be afforded and drunk by all classes of the population, from the president to the beggar. Among famous faces, he was very fond of Marilyn Monroe, his most famous work is the "Marilyn Diptych", with which he became famous in 1962, after the death of Marilyn Monroe.

His spirit lives on

Although Andy Warhol died in 1987, his spirit lives on in many contemporary stories. One of them is happening right now. At the beginning of October, Absolut launched a new limited series of Andy Warhol Edition bottles, celebrating creativity, pop art and the brand's iconic collaboration with the artist. The original image has been transferred onto the Absolut Andy Warhol Edition bottle, so anyone can take Andy Warhol's art home with them. In support of the promotion of this limited series of bottles, Absolut also presents two innovative concepts: "Warhol Spirit by Absolut", which blurs the line between art and nightlife and awakens in the audience the realization that creativity can achieve anything, and the artistic exchange "Andy Warhol Art Exchange by Absolut', which invites each of us to join the creative process by creating our own art. Original and striking, completely in the style of the legendary artist.
