Summer is coming, so we think more and more about the small flaws that have accumulated on the body over the winter. One of them is definitely cellulite, which occurs in 90 percent of women. Whether you're 25 or 55, there are few women who haven't experienced orange skin.
Cellulite is a completely normal phenomenon that occurs in both active and inactive women. This affliction bothers many women. Experts believe that orange skin is the easiest thing to come to terms with and accept your body with all its flaws, because that's the only way you'll be happier and more satisfied. In any case, a healthy diet, regular exercise and hydration combined with some massages can reduce orange skin - cellulite.
Women without cellulite are an exception, but genetics can mostly be blamed
Cellulite or orange skin appears in the form dimples on the skin. It is most often deposited on the buttocks, thighs, hips and abdomen, and it occurs mainly in women. It occurs when the fat cells inside layers of skin press on higher tissues, which causes holes in the skin. Many genetic, stylistic and hormonal factors contribute to the formation of cellulite, and as many as 85 percent of women face this problem.
Anti-cellulite massages are, according to experts, the best way to remove fatty deposits under the skin. They are not a magic treatment that will instantly smooth out all the holes in the skin, but exercise, plenty of water and a healthy diet can solve this unpleasant problem.
Simple pressing and pinching procedures with appropriate intensity of pressure can break down fatty deposits. This process leads to better circulation and fading of pores, resulting in tighter and smoother skin.
Professional massage therapists usually use special essential oils, creams, lotions and scrubs to try to reduce cellulite. They also usually use a variety of custom props for this purpose, such as balls, cups, and rolling tools.
Some believe that it is best to use "bare hands", while others believe that it is not the props that matter, but the technique, and that anyone can do an anti-cellulite massage at home.
They are used as a weapon in the fight against cellulite different techniques, and we've chosen the ones that women say give the best results.
Prepare your skin to fight cellulite
Before any massage technique, it is necessary to prepare the skin well. Apply plenty of oil to the skin. You can start from the feet or knees and work your way up. In this way, you stimulate circulation, which is the first basic step in the fight against cellulite, and it also has positive effects on the vascular system.
1. Kneading massage
This technique resembles the preparation of dough. When you knead the skin, the body tissues are lifted and compressed, making it easier to target fatty deposits. Experts call this technique the technique of alternating compression and lifting, which breaks down fatty deposits in a very logical way. This massage consists of two parts.
In the first part, use your fingers to knead smaller parts of the body, including the inner parts of the knees and upper arms. In the second part, use your hands to knead relatively larger parts of the body, i.e. thighs, hips and stomach.
This technique greatly increases blood flow to the surface of the skin and helps fat deposits to soften and eventually dissolve.
2. Massage with joints
It is quite clear from the name that this massage technique revolves around using joints to break down fatty deposits. All you have to do is hit the areas that are affected with cellulite hard. Of course, not too hard, so as not to injure yourself.
You can use your wrists to squeeze the area in circular motions and slowly break down the fatty deposits. Experts advise not to worry if the skin turns a little blue from the pressure, as this is completely normal.
3. "S" massage
This procedure requires fat deposits to be broken down in an S-shaped motion. Stand tall and place both thumbs perpendicular to your thighs. Then grab the largest possible area of skin affected by cellulite and massage in an S-shape with alternating movements in both directions.
This massage is best for large areas such as the buttocks, abdomen and thighs. Twisting the skin in opposite directions, accompanied by pinching and slight stinging, loosens the cellulite and melts it away.
At the end of each of these techniques, a complete anti-cellulite treatment should be performed. As at the beginning, gently massage the skin again, starting at the feet and slowly moving upwards. This will stimulate circulation and lymphatic drainage.
