Apple TV Plus: Netflix, HBO and Amazon Video are getting competition

Yesterday at its conference center in California, Apple unveiled a range of its subscription services, including the Apple TV Plus video-on-demand service. It should arrive in more than 100 countries already in the fall. Will Netflix, HBO and Amazon Video get serious competition?

Apple TV Plus it is new video on demand platform, which will receive its first contents already this fall, when it goes live in more than 100 countries around the world (in all probability, Slovenia will also be among them). The service is supposed to allow that we only pay for what we want to watch, should also there would be no annoying ads, but we will do series and movies can be downloaded and watch them even when there is no internet access. The platform will not only be available on Apple devices, but also on brand TVs Samsung, LG, Sony and Vision.

An otherwise rather boring event, which made the audience in the hall and those online yawn, was enlivened by the arrival celebrities from the field of film and television production. That's how he first appeared on stage Steven Spielberg (he is already creating a brand new TV series for Apple), and then some Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Aniston, Steve Carell and Oprah Winfrey. These are just some of the celebrities who will be working with Apple and their new platform. Check out the video to see who all the famous names of the film world are who will also be sharing their talent through the Apple TV Plus service.

How much the subscription will cost is not yet known, but we expect Apple to reveal this information at the next event. At yesterday's presentation, he showed a renewed one News application (will only be available in the US and Canada), payment card Card (this will be in physical form and as a virtual card on a smartphone, in the background will be Mastercard) and refined interface for Apple TV. Some have already marked the event as one of the most boring Apple events ever.
