Arctic Bath: a floating hotel in Sweden

Arctic Bath: a floating hotel in Sweden

The Lule River flows through Lapland in the north of Sweden, where Santa Claus lives, and the town of Harads stands next to it. The city, which is also known for the Treehotel, will build another unusual hotel. This time, instead of in the treetops, I prefer to be right on the river. A floating hotel in the summer, but immobile in the winter due to the ice. Architects Bertil Harström and Johan Kauppi have their heads full of ideas, obviously.

Arctic Bath the hotel and SPA, which is still under construction, carries it the image of a bird's nest. A round building will be erected in the courtyard a large swimming pool, in which water will have only 4 °C. Who dares? Those of you who aren't, you'll be able to lounge around on the wooden terrace and watched the stars in the northern sky or went to which of the saunas. Visitors will be able to spend the night in one of the 6 minimally furnished wooden cabins, suitable for 2 people, which will not be part of the basic building. Of course, as befits a hotel, you will also find it there a bar, restaurant and lounge.

The opening is supposed to be end of next year, and from June 2018 they will already be accepting reservations. Are you already tempted?
