And if from the ground it seems like he's just walking aimlessly up and down, we can only really appreciate, enjoy and make sense of his works from the Art at Altitude series (Art at Altitude) when looking at it from a bird's eye view.
Drawing in the snow snowshoes started more as a joke than for real in 2004, but since then creations in the snow Simon Beck creates all over the world. In contrast to most artists, he does not use conventional art supplies and surfaces, he has replaced the brush with a brush snowshoes, canvas for a snowy surface and hand gestures for tireless walking.

His works in the embrace of unspoiled nature at a high altitude are cumbersome and take more than 8 hours and 40 thousand steps, to complete them.
