The long-awaited convertible version of the Aston Martin DBS 770 Ultimate has finally been revealed, showcasing the stunning Volante design in a series of stunning official images. Limited to just 199 units, this rare gem has already sold out, proving the enduring appeal of the Gaydon-based luxury brand.
Aston Martin DBS 770 Ultimate Volante, boasting an improved 5.2-liter V12 engine that produces a whopping 759 horsepower, asserts its position as the most powerful road car Aston Martin so far. The twin-turbocharged engine produces an impressive 664 lb-ft (900 newton meters) of torque as low as 1,800 rpm, ensuring smooth and effortless cruising.
Although the Volante is sold out, Aston Martin has launched a configurator that offers a wide range of colors for the exterior and interior. Rarely configurable, special edition cars come with options ranging from chrome or black badges to a carbon fiber package. In addition, the DBS 770 Ultimate Volante can be supplied with a four-piece leather luggage set.
The convertible and its coupe counterpart ride on custom 21-inch wheels with a complex multi-spoke design inspired by the alloys of the Valkyrie and the one-off Victor. Available in satin silver or satin black, the wheels are optionally available with a diamond-turned finish. Fitted with Pirelli P Zero tires measuring 265/35 R21 at the front and 305/30 R21 at the rear.
