The Volante is Aston Martin's way of swapping the tarmac for the sky - no wings, but more style. To mark the 60th anniversary of the name, Q by Aston Martin has created two collector's treats: the Vanquish Volante and the DB12 Volante - green over tan, bronze elegance and numbers that wink with a license to lust.

The Volante first appeared in 1965 on the so-called Short Chassis Volante, made only in 37 specimensSince then, this designation has meant an open grand tourer from Gaydon – for those who appreciate the wind in their hair and British understatement. Volante comes from Italian and means "flying", which is actually poetically accurate for a convertible name. The Torkat is available in the following versions – Q by Aston Martin.

Two interpretations of the same song: V12 power and V8 refinement

Vanquish Volante is a two-seater on the top shelf of choice: 5.2-liter V12 twin-turbo develops 835 PS (824 hp/614 kW) and 1000 Nm (738 lb‑ft)The result? 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) in 3.4 s and 214 mph (344 km/h) top speed. It is the fastest and most powerful production open-top Aston Martin to date – a British cry in a time of noise.

DB12 Steering Wheel is 2+2 definition super tourer: hand-assembled 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbo he can 680 PS (671 hp/500 kW) and 800 Nm (590 lb‑ft), speed up 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) in 3.6 s and achieves 202 mph (325 km/h)If the Vanquish strikes like symphonic timpani, the DB12 plays like a perfectly tuned piano – with a smile.

Q aesthetics – Q by Aston Martin: green on green, signed with bronze

Both "Volante 60th Anniversary Editions"They are disguised as Q Pentland Green, with soft top Q Westminster Green and anodized bronze accents. Distinctive outside the mask is bronze, next to it side strakes made of solid aluminum – design sculptures that also work: they drain air from the ruts and reduce lift at speed. Under the slot sits enamelled Q by Aston Martin badge – quiet, but eloquent.

They are exclusive on the corners 21-inch Q wheels in satin bronze with diamond-cut edges, and at the back black brake calipersA combination that in reality works like a well-chosen pocket knife: beautiful, precise and useful.

Cabin: three tons, one purpose – to pamper

The interior is exclusive tri-color world Centenary Saddle Tan, Ivory and Woven leather, refined with Dark Walnut Open Pore veneers. Bronze controls (mode rotation, transmission selector) are tactile jewelry, embroidered logos 60th and engraved backrests and connect the cabin into a collectible story. This is Q at its best – modern craftsmanship in the service of pleasure.
