German Audi will unveil the study of the Audi E-tron Sportback, an electric crossover with a coupe line, at the Shanghai Auto Show in China (April 21 to 28, 2017), signed by Slovenian Domen Ručigaj, who plays an important role in designing Audi's vehicles of the future.
Audi E-tron Sportback it is a study of a crossover with a distinct coupé line. The idea for him grew in his head Slovenian Domno Ručigaj, which is the second big household name in the automotive world after Robert Lešnik. He could already brag about the Volkswagen study Sport Coupe Concept GTE from 2015, which recently grew into a serial sedan Arteon.
In the meantime, he transferred to Audi within the concern and signed official sketches boldly sculpted SUV on big wheels. The Audi E-tron Sportback is expected to compete with the BMW X6 and Mercedes GLE Coupe, as well as the Tesla X and the upcoming Jaguar I-pace coming from electric camp.

Slovenian Domen Ručigaj and his Audi E-tron Sportback are harbinger of a new design language brand from Ingolstadt, which predicts bolder lines and larger deviations between models. What kind of electrified powertrain it will be, remains a mystery for now.
The study is otherwise an upgrade of the study E-tron Quattro, which is becoming a serial electric crossover in 2018 (see video above), and it can also be understood that it will emphasis on the use of lamps and LED lights. Among other things, Audi's famous logo will also receive a lighting effect. The interior is expectedly futuristic, with cameras instead of rear view mirrors.
