Audi Sport isn't wasting any time as just a few months after the launch of the SQ8, it has now launched the RS Q8 with great fanfare. The latter has already been crowned the fastest SUV, as it set a new unique record in the Nürburgring with a time of 7:42.25. So it is the most powerful model of the Q series and the third RS SUV to be presented this year after the RS Q3 and RS Q3 Sportback.
Like the recently introduced ones RS6 Avant and RS7 Sportback also RS Q8 uses 4.0 liter V8 petrol engine with a mild hybrid system and thus develops 592 horsepower (441 kilowatts) and 800 Newton meters of torque. The eight-cylinder engine allows the large SUV to go from standstill to just 3.8 second acceleration to 100 km/h, making it just two tenths of a second slower than the mighty Lamborghini Urus. In acceleration lasting from 0 to 200 km/h only 13.7 seconds - but it is only a little slower - it takes 0.9s more than the Urus, while the top speed - limited by electronic control and the same for both - 305 km/h.
It is necessary to admit that it is the new Q8 with its coupe-like roofline one of the more attractive ones SUVs. But the RS version is with gigantic front air intakesj and s pairs of oval tailpipe openings reserved only for The RS line drops out simply divine and just right aggressive. New ones The RS is mounted on 22-inch rims, which are fitted with the largest tires in the history of Audi with a diameter of 295/40. It is in the presentation pictures Audi Q8 RS fitted with 23-inch wheelsa.
