Aura: an electric sports car concept, with a long range and no roof

Aura comes from Great Britain and is the fruit of four technology companies whose desire was to create a unique electric car. At the moment, the Aura is still a prototype, but fully functional and road legal.

The concept Aura was designed with the future in mind to chart the course for the cars drivers will want for years to come. Aura is made from sustainable materials and designed in a simple and minimalist style. Its design is described as clean, simple, efficient, iconic and with extremely low air resistance. Although the air resistance figure is not yet known, we can conclude that it is really small, since a car with a battery that has a capacity of 44 kWh, make do 640 kilometers a long way, on a single charge. For ideal weight distribution, one battery was placed in the front and the other in the bottom of the concept car.

In automotive jargon, the Aura would be described as small two-seater roadster, which is without a roof, on which they installed larger tires with low rolling resistance. Aora's infotainment system will have the special task of convincing electric car skeptics that they are more accessible, as these doubters would have you believe. The driver's controls are located on the the middle steering wheel ring, and in addition to them, an interactive map is also available, on which electric charging stations are marked. Only this will further help in overcoming the fear of an empty battery.
