Claus Memminger was once a successful endurance racing driver at Le Mans. After finishing his career, he did not give up gasoline fumes and instead devoted himself to the restoration of Volkswagen Beetles. It all started in 1998, when he and a friend restored the first Volkswagen Beetle. The latest product, the Memminger Roadster 2.7, was presented just in time for the introduction to summer romance with an open roof.
