In 2006, Michael Schumacher, one of the greatest racing drivers of all time, drove his final season for Ferrari. Perhaps it should have been a fairy tale with a happy ending, but fate played out differently. Despite his outstanding achievements, such as seven victories and six top starting places, Fernando Alonso with Renault took the championship title away from him. Schumacher did not leave the racing arenas without a show – and the Ferrari 248 F1, chassis no. 254, is the one with which he wrote some of the last, memorable chapters of his career.
