In these uncertain days, when we stay at home and anxiously follow the news about the spread of the new coronavirus, music has started to be heard from the balconies all over Italy, and other countries are joining it. Slovenian musicians also call for joint singing and playing instruments, which will connect us in a special way. That's why today, Sunday, March 15, at 6 p.m., let's step out onto the balcony or by the window, sing and play each one from our homes and thus join the musical message.
It is your civic duty these days to protect yourself and your loved ones and to be, please, socially responsible! To stay at home and not be egotistical. To meet the country's expectations and thus save lives! By doing so, you are not only saving lives, but also the way our society will live in the future. You are helping Slovenia with your responsibility! You build the future with your responsibility.
The arrival of the coronavirus has caused fear. But fear is a condition for survival. Because of him, we are able to change. And this time society has to change. There is no need to panic, but consistency and strict adherence to instructions are necessary for these types of infections. If we ignore this, the virus will spread even faster and it will be even more difficult to contain it! There is also a lot in our habits, which this time we have to change practically overnight. Let's become absolutely responsible to society. By adopting these measures, we will keep our health, and work and society will soon return to normal.
Hand sanitizer is one of the most sought-after products these days. Since stock has already been sent to the vast majority of Slovenian retailers, we looked to the world's largest retailer, Amazon. The latter guarantees low prices and also fast delivery. Even those products with which we can make large quantities of hand sanitizer ourselves!
Slovenian mathematicians warn, that the exponential function of the spread of the virus in Slovenia is even worse than in Italy. Prof. dr. Dragan Marušić he spoke about the COVID-19 virus and its exponential growth. Action and isolation is needed today. Otherwise, in 10 days we will already have 1,000 patients with the COVID-19 virus. Here, the virus spreads faster than in Italy, and this is a mathematical fact!
Slovenia among all countries where the coronavirus has been detected (i.e. among 121 countries where there is an infection today), already occupies 13th place by the number of infected inhabitants per million. The situation is extremely serious, and action by all citizens is desirable - IMMEDIATELY!
Italy stood still yesterday. Quarantine measures now apply to the entire country. The Italian government has restricted the movement of 60 million Italians to only the most essential. Without proven needs, staying in the "outdoors" is simply prohibited. Violations are punishable by imprisonment of up to three months. People die in homes. Hospitals and intensive care have not had the capacity for the most urgent cases for several days. A state of war or state of emergency applies. This is also why everyone can already take measures today, with which we will jointly help contain the coronavirus in Slovenia as well.
In the editorial office, we dug into the numbers and comprehensive statistics of the outbreak in Italy and concluded that the situation in Slovenia at the very beginning of the outbreak was not good. Already 250 infected will mean the same level of severity of the epidemic as in Italy. Serious and excessive action is recommended! Only in this way can the long-term consequences be contained.
The closure of the Faculty of Pharmacy, all hospitals in Slovenia and the cancellation of mass gatherings and events seems to many people to be complete nonsense, as we have not yet officially discovered patient 0 in Slovenia, i.e. the first patient with the SARS-CoV-2 virus. But is it really so? What are those in charge hiding from us and how are they deceiving the Slovenian public? Almost 500 people have already been infected in Italy!
Balancing a passion for sports with a busy everyday life can be exhausting. You need a sports watch that is ready when you are, and a smart watch that can cope with your lifestyle. We have collected the first impressions, which we reproduce in a video!
We talked to renowned personal trainer Daniel Jelovic about the misconceptions related to exercise. This January always deals with those of us who believe in exercise myths, and of course with a bunch of those who set unrealistic New Year's resolutions. We've worked with him to pick out some of the most common misconceptions most of his clients have when they decide to start training.
