The 88th Geneva Motor Show 2018, which will take place between March 8 and 18, will serve up a bunch of long-awaited innovations. We have prepared a short overview of the most interesting ones for you. If you will see the salon live, you will know what you should pay attention to.
But if you don't feel like traveling to Switzerland, at least in the circle of your closest people you will act like a real connoisseur, because you are so familiar with the latest news. These are the long-awaited innovations that are coming to Geneva Motor Show 2018.
1. Aston Martin
The Aston Martin Vantage will be presented live to the masses for the first time. We will also be able to see it up close for the first time, touch it and check whether its lines are as seductive in person as they are in the photos. Since it is one of the most exciting cars, it will be very difficult for any of the competitors to steal its place under the spotlight.
2. Audi
Audi will present a new generation of the A6 model. Thus, the already well-known BMW 5 Series and Mercedes-Benz E-Class will finally get competition. The A6 is likely to be very similar to the latest Audi A8 road cruiser. The Audi E-tron, their first electric SUV, is not expected to be at the show itself, but rumors suggest that the car will be tested on the roads around the show complex.
3. Bentley
At Bentley, we will be able to admire the all-new Bentaygo V8 model and make sure in which details it differs from other versions. Alongside it will be a plug-in hybrid version of the Bentayga, which we have not seen before. We are really interested in what the e-Bentayga will use to indicate its ecological drive.
4. BMW
At BMW, we are certainly most looking forward to the unveiling of the 8 series. Probably not yet in a complete, final form, but in a concept, which will already indicate what the final version should be. In addition to the 8 Series, the new BMW X4 and the revised BMW 2 Active and Grand Tourer will be on display.
5. Citroën
The C4 Cactus will be the star of the Citroën stage in Geneva. The fresh and renewed image will attract many curious people, as the predecessor was already very interesting. The Cactus will still set itself apart from its rivals and will be available with a wide range of engines and plenty of smart technology.
6. Cupra
This time, Cupra will present itself as its own brand. It is not the first time that within the company they have decided to start presenting their strongest examples as a brand that is independent. The Ateca Cupra will be presented first.
7. David Brown Automotive
David Brown Automotive is a British boutique car manufacturer. There are many secrets for this year's Geneva, the only thing confirmed is that they will present a "grand tourer", which will be designed in the style of classic cars. For an easier idea, take a look at one of their achievements so far.
8. Ferrari
Rumor has it that an even more toxic version of the current 488 GTB model will be introduced. The name was supposed to be 488 GTO or 488 Speciale. Obviously, we won't know until the official launch. In the meantime, we can refresh our memory with the current 488 GTB.
9. Fiat
Fiat will present the Tipa Sport. At least that's what the rumors suggest. Unfortunately, absolutely nothing is known about the power of this engine, but it is said to be the most fun version of the Fiat Tipo yet. Below is a little more about the current Tip.
10. Ford
Ford will introduce the redesigned Ford Edge and the redesigned Ka+ and Ka+ Active. It will be interesting to see which equipment specifications and which engines will be intended for European buyers. We're definitely interested in Edge at his most venomous.
11. Formula E
Formula E will introduce a new car to be used in this electric competition. Advanced technology and more powerful batteries will provide even more excitement during the races themselves. We also expect more technical data, as so far we have only managed to get a few photos and read a lot of speculation.
12. Hyundai
There are rumors about a new concept car, but it is not yet known exactly what it is supposed to be. We will certainly be able to see the new generation of the Hyundai Santa Fe and the all-electric Hyundai Kona.
13. Jaguar
Jaguar will impress visitors to the showroom with the electric i-Pace. If 2017 was the year of SUVs, 2018 will be the year of electric SUVs. The i-Pace will be the closest competitor to the Tesla X, and another competitor will soon join them.
14. Jeep
The Wrangler is an automotive icon, and this time they will also present the Jeep Wrangler in all its beauty in Europe. The bold SUV has not changed much in style, but it is important that the essence remains the same - durability and good off-road capabilities.
15. Kia
The current Kia models will be joined by the third generation Kia Ceed. On official sketches, it looks aggressive and even better than previous generations. We will have to wait less than a month to see what it will be like live. Until then, feast your eyes on the Pro Ceed concept.
16. Land Rover
The Range Rover SV Coupe will be a car to watch out for in Geneva. Only 999 examples of this extremely luxurious and handcrafted two-door SUV will be made. For an easier idea of luxury, you can see the news about the Range Rover SVAutobiography.
17. Lexus
We also expect a small SUV from Lexus. It will be a direct competitor to the Jaguar E-Pac and it will be interesting to see what Lexus wants to do against Jaguar. The small SUV has not yet been confirmed, but we can still be very surprised. Lexus also recently presented the LF-1 Limitless concept model.
18. Manifattura Automobili Torino
A few days ago, the news broke that we will see the Stratos name on the car again. 25 examples of the Italian boutique carmaker will be made. The basic plans are exactly the same as the 2010 prototype.
19. Mazda
The highlight of Mazda will definitely be the redesigned Mazda6. This will be the European debut of the Mazda6 in sedan form and the world debut of the Mazda6 in wagon form. In addition, the Kai concept model and the even more exciting Vision Coupe concept will be on display.

Senna will surely be one of the hottest athletes at the Geneva Motor Show. The beast with 660 horse power will be presented to the general public for the first time, as until now it has only been shown to a very select group of people.
21. Mercedes-Benz
Mercedes-Benz will present the all-new A-Class with the latest in-dash infotainment system. In addition, we will witness a renewed version of the C-class. The most powerful representative of the G-class, the G63 AMG, will also be presented. In all likelihood, all of these will be overshadowed by the elongated coupe version of the AMG GT Coupe.
22. MINI
MINI will present a new MINI with a chopped rear and a MINI in a convertible version. In addition, it presents a new logo and extremely interesting rear lights, in the image of the Union Jack flag.
23. Morgan
Morgan may be a lesser-known car manufacturer, but you've surely heard of the ones made out of wood. This is partly true, but by no means for all models, and the wood is only used as part of the structure and it is by no means a wooden car. The Aero GT and Morgan Plus 8 models will be presented in Geneva.
24. Pal-V Liberty
The Pal-V Liberty is said to be the world's first commercial flying car. It will be presented to the public in Geneva, so we can see up close how the creators imagined this amphibian between a car and a helicopter.
25. A half-year-old
Volvo's brand of sports cars will display the Polestar 1 model. It is a hybrid athlete, which is of great interest. The model will pave the way and outline the future for the next Polestar sports cars.
26. Rhyme
The Rimac Concept One recently infamously ended up in a ball of fire in the Swiss Alps. Of course, none other than one of the presenters of the Grand Tour car show is responsible for this. This time, Rimac will present the Concept Two, from which we expect a lot. Its predecessor was already a story in itself, and it is no wonder that we are already impatiently waiting for its successor.
27. Too bad
Škoda will present us with the renewed Fabia and put on display the concept small SUV Vision X. Škoda is steadily climbing the popularity ladder, so it is no wonder that they want to be present in as many car segments as possible.
28. Toyota
Toyota is expected to present the new Supra in Geneva. The new Supra has been talked about for quite some time and there are even supposed to be several versions of the model. But until we know more, a few words about the successor of the Toyota GT86.
29. Volvo
In addition to the Polestar brand, the latest from Volvo is the new V60. Slowly, all the models in the Volvo range will get a new up-to-date look, and now it was the V60's turn. For an easier demonstration, you can take a look at its bigger brother, the Volvo V90.
