The new Mercedes-Benz A-Class is its fourth generation. The latter brings greatly improved technology, new engines and slightly larger proportions to the new Mercedes-Benz A-Class. All this represents a complete personal whole and an advanced car with a chopped rear, which sets new standards in this car class. You will definitely look behind it, as with most Mercedes in recent years.
New ones Mercedes-Benz class A brings a slightly larger wheelbase, which has grown by 30 mm, and its width increased by 14 mm. Larger dimensions provide passengers with more shoulder and headroom, and more luggage space will be available. From a design perspective, it is class A got sharper features, especially on the front part of the car. The downwardly curved bonnet and the integrated headlights under it create an aggressive look. For an additional fee, the headlights can be upgraded with Multibeam LED headlights, which consist of 18 LED incandescent units.
The new Mercedes-Benz A-Class will also get some new and revised engines. We don't know exactly which ones will be buzzing on Slovenian roads, but they singled out the 1.4-liter turbo 4-cylinder with 161 horsepower, 2-liter turbo 4-cylinder with 221 horsepower and a 1.5-liter turbo diesel with 114 horsepower. We will be able to choose between a 6-speed manual gearbox and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The transmission is connected to the front wheel pair, and will also be available for an additional fee 4MATIC four-wheel drive.
The interior of the new Mercedes-Benz A-Class presents the all-new MBUX infotainment system, and the A-Class is the first Mercedes-Benz to have it. Now it is also at class A a digital central display is available, where until now we were used to classic speedometers and revolutions.
The MBUX system is available in three versions. We have a choice of a pair of 7-inch screens, a combination of 7-in 10.25-inch screen and a pair of 10.25-inch displays. If we choose the third option, the top of the dashboard will act as a large continuous screen. They will be available verbal commands, which we will start with the phrase "Hey Mercedes". The fact that some technology has already made it from the S-class to the A-class doesn't even need to be mentioned, since it's been this way from generation to generation. The new representative of the Mercedes fleet – class A – we will be able to start admiring on the roads already this spring.
