Autumn holidays are a great opportunity to travel to places with an oriental touch. The temperatures become more bearable, the markets are not saturated with tourists, and the locals have enough time to engage in conversation with you.

Dubai

Luxury and opulence, two words that without a doubt describe the most popular destination on the Arabian Peninsula. Admire the boldest construction achievements that have sprouted in the desert in the last few decades, or just sit and watch the local rich. Dubai is a world in miniature, where you can enjoy the white sandy beaches or go down the snowy slope of the artificial ski slope. At the moment, the world's largest exhibition, Expo 2020, is taking place there. Cheap flights from Ljubljana are available, starting from 394 euros in November. To enter Dubai, you need a negative PCR test result or proof of vaccination.

Marrakesh

Marrakesh is perfect for anyone who likes to get lost in the Arab souks, while also seeing the cultural beauty and experiencing the true spirit of the city. Morocco's fourth largest city is famous for the largest Berber market and a bunch of beautiful gardens with colorful flowers that were admired by the famous Yves Saint Laurent. With Ryanair, you can fly from Venice to Morocco at a very reasonable price, plane tickets start at less than 20 euros. When entering Morocco, you need a vaccination certificate or a negative PCR test, which must not be older than 72 hours.

Istanbul

Istanbul is considered one of those world cities that can be explored in a few days, weeks or even months. It is a wonderful harmony of culture, religion, tradition and history that blends with the modern world. Simply enjoy the city's hustle and bustle and varied culinary specialties, admire the famous Hagia Sophia mosque or take a boat ride along the Bosphorus.
