Children are the ones who look forward the most to potato holidays, when they take a break from school for a week. If you would like to jump over the border this holiday, the suggestions below will come in handy.

Legoland, Gunzburg

A good 500 kilometers separates you from your children's dreamland, Legoland. The latter is a real paradise for the youngest and a little older, as it is built from as many as 55 million Lego bricks. Entertainment is provided at more than 50 attractions that allow you to visit various themed Lego sets. The journey there is not very short, but you can make a few stops and turn it into a short vacation by visiting Munich or the Ulm Cathedral.

Minimundus, Cologne

Not far from the Slovenian-Austrian border, in Klagenfurt you can find a small country - Minimundus. On an area of 26,000 m2, there are 159 models of the world's most beautiful architectural masterpieces from more than 30 countries. The 1:25 scale buildings are built from original materials, so they will impress not only the youngest, but also the oldest with their thoroughly crafted details. You can extend your one-day trip by visiting Lake Vrb.

Gardaland, Verona

Another amusement park where the day goes by too quickly. A case of the largest amusement park in Italy, which covers 200,000 m² and offers countless activities. Parents, who are no strangers to adrenaline, will also benefit. Only half an hour's drive away is the beautiful Italian city of Verona, where the story of Romeo and Juliet originates, so we suggest that you extend the trip a little further and walk through the city streets and visit one of the pastry shops.
