In the ever-changing world of automotive wonders, the BAC Mono has always stood out as a symbol of innovation and design. This year it made a grand entrance at the famous Monterey Car Week event.

Drawing inspiration from its revered predecessor, the Mono R, it's new BAC Mona subtly transitioned into a more rounded shape. The center-mounted LED headlights bear witness to its intricate design, while the rear is adorned with an optimized spoiler that gracefully extends over the arch.

At its core is a 2.5-liter naturally aspirated engine carefully crafted by Mountune. With a power of 311 horsepower (311 'horsepower') and 313 Newton-meters of torque (231 pounds per foot), it reminds us that power and elegance can complement each other. Especially when it's installed in a race car that weighs just 570 kilograms (1,257 pounds). With this power, the Mono accelerates to 96 km/h (60 mph) in just 2.7 seconds, making it one of the fastest internal combustion road cars.

BAC is rumored to be planning to introduce a turbo version in 2024. It is expected to feature Ford's acclaimed 2.3-litre EcoBoost engine, a strategic move given stringent global emissions standards.

The latest Mono is not just a car; is a symphony of engineering and art. With orders pouring in from around the world, one thing is clear: the world is eagerly awaiting the BAC Mono 2024.

Briggs Automotive Company (BAC) is a British car manufacturer that created the Mono, a road legal single seat sports car. BAC is headquartered in Liverpool, United Kingdom. Mono cars are exported to 47 countries worldwide. BAC was founded in 2009 by brothers Neill (Product Development Director) and Ian Briggs (Design Director). The Briggs brothers advised car brands such as Mercedes, Porsche, Bentley and Ford on design and engineering projects until they decided to expand their creative potential with a product from the ground up. The result was the BAC Mono, a lightweight, single-seater, open-top, road-legal sports car. The first BAC Mono was produced in 2011 and made its public debut at the Retro Classics show in Stuttgart, Germany.
