The Bachus Center in Ljubljana is perhaps best known for its evening and nighttime events, but the culinary aspect of this multifunctional space should not be neglected. The restaurant extends over the entire basement of the business premises, and the intimate light is as if ordered for dinners for two. A special charm is given to the room by a glass curtain through which you can watch what is happening in the kitchen, and you can easily walk through the special entrance to the Bachus club or lounge. The culinary offer of Restaurant Bachus is based on light food with a Mediterranean touch. For starters, we refresh ourselves with caprese salad and soft beef or grouper carpaccio. We can also be tempted by capesantes or prosciutto with melon. As a real modern city restaurant, they boast a large selection of salads, but there is also a rich selection of pasta and risottos, where you can choose between the stronger flavors of prosciutto, truffles, seafood or porcini mushrooms, as well as the more neutral taste of fresh seasonal vegetables or cheese. The range of main dishes is not extensive, but everyone can find something for their taste, be it lung fillet with truffles, grilled shrimp, venison fillet in hunting sauce or Viennese steak. In addition, we treat ourselves to a polenta cake or ratatouille, and before that we pamper our taste buds with onion gratin or soup prepared daily. We round it all off with a glass of wine from the extensive wine selection, and at the end we treat ourselves to a bacchus cake with topping or one of the other light desserts. For a quick snack, we treat ourselves to an excellent bruschetta at Bachus.
