On October 29, a ballet evening by choreographers Rosana Hribar, Gregor Luštek and Alexander Ekman will take place for the first time in the Ljubljana Opera House. The ballet evening consisting of two parts under the title Meso srca / Kaktusi will present the creativity of the current generation of choreographers.
On October 29, a ballet evening will take place for the first time on the stage of SNG Opera and Ballet Ljubljana Meat of the heart / Cacti. Through it, visitors will be introduced to the creativity of the current generation of talented choreographers: Rosana Hribar, Gregor Luštek and Alexander Ekman.
The ballet evening will take place in two parts. In the first, we will witness a completely new ballet choreography, created for the ballet ensemble by talented dancers and Prešeren laureates Rosana Hribar and Gregor Luštek, and the musical background will be the works of Ravel, Offenbach, Rossini, Prokofiev, Rachmaninov, Bartok and Chopin. In the second part, we will take a look at the performance Cacti, which has made an outstanding mark on the current European dance art and arouses the interest of both the professional public and the audience on stage.

The choreographer, scenographer and costume designer of the show is a freelance artist Alexander Ekman, who presented himself to the world audience with Kaktus for the first time in 2010 in The Hague, Netherlands. The play, which combines Ekman's wit and contemporary dance, is one of the director's most successful productions, for which he has also received numerous international awards. The musical basis of Kaktus are works by Beethoven, Haydn and Schubert, and she will be the conductor of the entire evening Long live Ploj Peršuh.
