Who does not remember the lovely and melodious songs of Kajetan Kovič, which Neca Falk sings for all children, young and old? We will listen to the cat band at the final concert of the Bobri Festival.
"When the bell rings in the clock, Maček Muri wakes up," is a unique song for the morning alarm clock, which can be sung all day long at school, at work, at lunch, on the way home and until the evening when you close your eyes. Muri the cat and his Cat Mac many of us have fond memories from our childhood days and we are sure that many hearts sing when they hear Ure Kajetan Ković, author of cat songs.
Music project Maček Muri and Muca Maca, which he ate guitarist and composer Jerko Novak conceived with his colleagues as a rock project and became the bible of rock, in execution Nece Falk undoubtedly belongs to the greatest pearls of Slovenia musical productions for children and also for adults. This year is passing 30 years since the release of the tape, during which time more than one hundred and ten thousand copies of cassettes and CDs were sold. There are many of us who have met with Muri cats met in early childhood and listened to it until the teenage years, but we have not forgotten it by any means. Even today, you can buy a book and a CD, and the songs can be handed down to the younger generations.
Perhaps the charm lies precisely in Ković's poetry, which through the parables of someone "cat world" tells stories from our everyday world. Neca Falk with her exquisite interpretation she breathed life into all these cats, fat and thin, hardworking and gangster, nerds and revelers.
It is recently Muri the cat also came to life in animated form, so we will be able to watch it before the concert the first part of the animated mini-series about the most famous Slovenian cat. It takes place in To the cat's place on a very special day, and it is accompanied by excellent original music, which we will also hear after the projection at the concert Cat Murija and Mace Muca in execution Nece Falk under the leadership Jerek Novak.
