Bentley has upped the ante on its hybrid revolution – the Continental GT, GTC and Flying Spur are now available with a 680bhp High Performance Hybrid powertrain. Yes, faster than the previous W12 Speed. These are Bentley hybrids.

Bentley has officially buried its glorious W12 era and replaced it with something… even better? In a year when most luxury brands are still thinking about how to electrify the future, Bentley is elegantly cruising by – in silence and with 680 horsepower under the hood. Introducing the new generation of the Continental GT, GT Convertible and Flying Spur with “High Performance Hybrid” drive. And yes, you still feel like a lord when you drive – just now the whole village can’t hear you. So Bentley hybrids.

A power that surpasses the past – Bentley hybrids

Forget the old V12. The new 4.0-liter V8, coupled with a powerful electric motor, produces a total of 680 hp (500 kW) and 930 Nm of torque. That's more than the legendary W12 Speed had – and significantly more efficient. In numbers, that means:

  • 0–100 km/h in 3.7 seconds for Continental GT
  • 3.9 seconds for GTC convertible
  • 3.9 seconds also for the Flying Spur luxury sedan

In electric mode, they can transport up to 85 km (53 miles) emissions-free. So you'll cruise around town without a drop of fuel, but still in the style of a Rolls-Royce competitor. In combined mode, emissions drop to 29–31 g/km CO₂, which is practically green for a car weighing more than two tons.

Exterior Bentley hybrids: Bentley remains Bentley

The new generation of GT and GTC remains faithful to the classic silhouette that has been iconic since 2003. What's new?

  • Matrix mask in black gloss with chrome edge
  • “Harmony” headlights with cut crystal look and animations
  • Two bright chrome exhaust tips
  • “Handcrafted in Crewe, England” thresholds – because handcrafting is not just a marketing gimmick

They reign inside hand stitches, classically designed seats and options between light and dark chrome ambience. Every part of the car screams: “This is not mass production, this is Bentley.”

Conclusion: Bentley writes a new chapter with an electric pen

A new one High Performance Hybrid The Bentley family is proof that electrification doesn't mean giving up prestige, power or emotion. On the contrary – it allows for more of everything. Yes, the Ultra Performance Hybrid (782 hp) will still be the king of speed, but the new 680-horsepower fleet of GT, GTC and Flying Spur models is more balanced and suitable for everyday use. These are Bentley hybrids.

And perhaps for the first time in history, Bentley is no longer just for the aristocracy with multi-generational wealth – although prices remain in the Bentley realm. We expect the entry price of the Continental GT with High Performance Hybrid to be well over 220,000 euros, Flying Spur even higher.

But honestly: once you sit in silence, surrounded by hand-stitched leather, driving 100 km/h without a sound – who cares about euros anymore? Bentley has not abandoned tradition – it has simply transformed it for the future. And in typically British fashion: with elegance, power and without any compromise.

Let the silence soothe you. And the acceleration of 3.7 seconds.
