Small cars can be quickly overlooked, as they do not stand out too much, although it is hard to imagine life in city centers without them. They boast agility and compact dimensions, and it was always easier to find a parking space behind the wheel of the 'city kid'. And which small cars impressed us the most in 2019?

We took a closer look the smallest representatives of city cars and also their little ones bigger 'relatives', but especially those who were this year novelty and with that they are additional to us impressed. We've sorted them by random in order, but you will certainly find something in each of them interesting.

1. Hyundai i10

Hyundai's little i10 already got its third version. It's still compact, so it's ideal for city centers. Although it has grown up (improvements are noticeable at every step), it has retained its sporty design.

Renovated Renault Twingo at first glance, it doesn't look much different from its predecessor, and it's still extremely cute. Since the differences are hidden in the details, we can already see at a second look that they are different after all.

3. Audi A1 Citycarver

Audi A1 Citycarver it is based on the current Audi A1, from which it has a 35 mm higher chassis, and visually resembles the models from the Audi Q line. Citycarver will feel good on city streets, country roads, highways and even on slightly rougher terrain.

4. Ford Puma

The shape of the new Ford Puma it's unsurprising and in line with competing compact crossovers – it's based on the Ford Fiesta, with which it shares quite a few design elements. The Puma's front end looks 'cheerful' and the seating position is of course higher. We also find a lot in common inside, and because of the shape, the Puma has a larger luggage compartment, which has 456 liters of space.

On first sight Renault ZOE it remains as we know it, but it will soon become clear to you that it is a new generation of car - the exterior lines are similar, yet different: headlights in LED technology are already part of the standard equipment, and the rear LED lights also stand out .

6. BMW 1

Brand new BMW 1 differs from its predecessor in almost everything. The basis of the car with a chopped rear is preserved, but now for the first time it receives a front-wheel drive. The same story can be seen with the design, which has taken care of radical changes both outside and inside the car.

7. Opel Corsa-e

Opel Corsa-e is the right thing to celebrate the 120th anniversary of Opel's existence. The sixth generation of the popular car is this time available in fully electric form – it is powered by an engine with a power of 100 kW (136 hp), which is enough to make the newcomer agile and, above all, fun.

8. Volkswagen T-Cross

Volkswagen T-Cross he set himself a mission to take us over, and he succeeded in doing so with playfulness. Considering the compact dimensions, the interior is extremely spacious, thanks also to the rear bench, which can be moved forward or backward by 14 centimeters. The T-Cross offers the largest trunk in its compact 'category', and it can carry objects up to 2.3 meters long.

9. Peugeot 208

Peugeot 208 was always considered one of those representatives of his urban type who was bold enough to conquer the hearts of young women. In this generation, however, he is a little more daring and wants to predict future trends for the entire B segment.

10. Renault Clio

Although today's trend is towards cars getting bigger, with the new one Renault Clio it's not like that. It is actually 14 mm shorter than the previous generation, but still more spacious. The luggage space has increased from 300 liters to 391 liters, making the new Renault Clio the best in its class.
