Angell bike: an electric bike with a touch screen on the handlebars, light as a feather

Angell bike

In his latest project, French designer Ora-ïto teamed up with French entrepreneur Marc Simonci to create the Angell bike. The stylish electric bike weighs only 13.9 kilograms, and with a touch screen on the handlebars, it offers a smart and simple ride around town.

Idea for Angell bike can be attributed to Simonci, who asked himself an important question three years ago: "What if we made the best electric bike?" With the help of designer Ora-ïte, he succeeded. This is how a beautiful aluminum and carbon fiber bike was created.

He's at the helm touch screen, which allows the user to stay up to date with weather forecasts, air quality information, battery level, speed and calories burned. The Angell bike also boasts removable battery, weighing less than 2 kilograms, and hyperbolic lights. The battery is charged in two hours, so that the future owner does not have to worry, the battery also has automatic locking system, which protects it from theft.

In addition to being one of the lightest electric bikes in the world, the Angell bike also offers users three different driving modes: free driving, navigation driving and sports driving, with a maximum speed of 25 km/h and autonomy of 70 kilometers.

The bike is available in black or silver and is available to order at cost 2,690 euros. Many add-ons are available for a fee, such as fenders, wooden baskets, helmets, protective face masks, etc.
