The BMW 2 Active Tourer and the BMW 2 Gran Tourer are premium family one-seaters that have quickly become BMW bestsellers. More than 380,000 of them were sold, and the most interesting markets for such cars are Germany, China and Great Britain. From now on, both models will boast the new colors Juncaro Beige and Sunset Orange.
Visual renovation BMW 2 Active Tourer and BMW's 2 Gran Tourer will also cover rims where available 6 new designs in size from 17 to 19 inches. While the visual changes are purely cosmetic, many more changes have been touched upon drives and gearboxes. It is available from now 7-speed automatic Steptronic gearbox with double clutch, in addition to the already known 6-speed manual and 8-speed automatic transmission Steptronic. With the renovation, both compact minivans got system iDrive and they have a choice 6,5- or 8.8 inch screen on touch. BMW engineers devoted a lot of effort to improving the engines. The Active Tourer is available with engines that pack the punch from 109 to 231 horsepower, and with the Gran Tourer, the power is spread out from 109 to 192 horsepower. It will also be on offer plug-in hybrid 225x iPerformance, which will be able to drive with a full battery up to 45 kilometers and had an average consumption 2.3 l/100 km. Both redesigned models will be available from March 2018 onwards.
