BMW has unveiled the refreshed 2025 BMW M2 2025, offering 20 more horsepower and silver wheels that promise to revolutionize the world of automotive design. Can we really compete with the M3 and M4? Sure, but first let's take a look at these awesome rims!

Following the unveiling of the updated 2 Series model, BMW presents a refreshed M2 for 2025. The headline figure is a 20 horsepower increase, bringing the total to 473 hp (354 kW), putting this little coupe alongside the manual M3 and M4. But we're actually more impressed with the new all-silver rims.

For too long we have lived under the tyranny of black, gray and diamond cut rims. The M2 was no exception, but for 2025 the coupe got the option of silver alloys, which look extremely attractive. These rims are the same as the recently refreshed M3 and M4 models, adding to their exclusivity).

The engine remains the same – the 3.0-litre twin-turbo used by most M models. While power increases, torque remains unchanged. That translates to 550 Nm (406 lb-ft) for the six-speed manual model and 600 Nm (443 lb-ft) for the eight-speed automatic model. BMW has also changed the throttle response for quicker engine response. The extra power reduced the 0-100 km/h acceleration time by 0.1 seconds – 4.1 seconds for the manual and 3.9 seconds for the automatic.

The bodywork remains unchanged, but the color palette has expanded, as well as the badges and tailpipes are now black. Inside, you'll find the latest iDrive 8.5 infotainment system, a new flat-bottomed steering wheel and optional red accents for the standard sports seats. Carbon seats are now available as a stand-alone option, which means you no longer need to buy them in expensive packages.

Production begins in August, and the base price rises from $64,195 to $66,075. A healthy price hike for a car that's only been minimally updated, but still a bargain considering the 2025 M3 costs a whopping $11,100 more. In Europe, prices start at around €72,000, depending on the market.

The 2025 BMW M2 brings more power and extremely attractive silver wheels, which are a real revolution in the world of automotive design. Although the changes were minimal, they are enough to excite car enthusiasts and fans of fast driving. For those looking for performance, style and innovation, the M2 is a great choice. After all, who wouldn't want silver rims on their M2?
