When BMW makes a car where it slaps the CS badge, we know it's bringing all of its MotorSport know-how to bear on the performance side of a particular model. This is also why the BMW M5 with this badge simply has to impress! But there is one unexpected problem.
First, to the pure technical data; 4.4 liter V8 engine with a maximum power of 467 kW (635 hp) changes BMW M5 CS into the most powerful car in the history of the BMW M division. Among the standard equipment configuration is, of course, the eight-speed M Steptronic automatic transmission with Drivelogic function and the M all-wheel drive system xDrive, which also allows the selection of 2WD mode for pure rear-wheel drive adrenaline. True, this toy is 4WD, but it allows the driver to get off the reins and play with the rear like some old model from the 1990s.
To be precise: BMW M5 CS speed up from 0 to 100 km/h in just three seconds, and from 0 to 200 km/h it takes as much as an average family station wagon to reach 100 km/h - only 10.4 seconds. Its top speed is electronically limited to 305 km/h.
Of course, this is a high-level exclusivity, so up to four people can enjoy it - the driver and passenger in the M Carbon seats and two passengers in the independent rear seats. Upholstered in black Merino leather, they offer glimpses of eye-catching contrasting accents and decorative stitching in Mugello Red. The integrated headrests – with an illuminated M5 logo for the front seats – have an embedded outline of the Nürburgring's legendary North Loop. The car has a lot of original accessories of the line CS: from the colors to the rims reserved only for this model.
The arrival of the new BMW M5 CS it is scheduled to go on sale in the spring of 2021, and in Slovenia it will be available to buyers from 196,850 euros. That's even a bit more than you'll shell out for an electric athlete Porsche Taycan Turbo or rather, this amount is large for "only" BMW. what a big BMW M5 CS it costs almost as much as a Ferrari Roma! That's why it is BMW M5 CS the cherry on top of the offer, but it's the price that makes us smile a little more sour and green.
