The team at motorcycle refinisher Ton-up Garage has reworked BMW's R45 custom so radically that the photos look like computer photomontage. BMW's retro model R45 custom is also not a very common choice of converters, as it is a smaller and therefore less well-known model of this Bavarian brand, but this Portuguese company took a close look at exactly that.
473 cubic a motorcycle whose boxer engine produces 35 hp it was previously modified by a private converter, but Ton-up Garage took it under their wing and completely rebuilt it.
They are the first "undressed" and installed a new rear on the current frameo swing arm, last shock absorbers and rebuilt forks. They also gave him a new mask including modified front light, they added to him mudguard in enduro style and also replaced the current tires with ones for off road.
After the major works were completed, they began to change even smaller details on the motorcycle, within which the R45 got a smaller rear turn signal in black, a smaller rear light and chrome-clad speedometer. The finishing touch is represented by the retro-designed levers dressed in a brown color combination, which coincide with many other details of the motorcycle.
The price of the motorcycle is not known, as it is "one of a kind" product, but it is true that it looks better than the original motorcycle when it rolled off the production lines of the BMW factory.
