Imagine taking one of the rawest naked bikes on the market, coating it in the darkest black, adding carbon panels, hand-crafted leather and microfiber… and the end product is no longer just a motorcycle – it’s a luxurious art object on two wheels. Welcome to the BRABUS x KTM 1400 R Signature Edition, a joint project between BRABUS and KTM, limited to just 100 units worldwide.

The black color “Midnight Veil”, which leads almost to a blue-black shade, was chosen precisely to emphasize the carbon surfaces and design lines of the model BRABUS x KTM 1400 R Signature Edition.

You will find carbon accessories on the BRABUS x KTM 1400 R Signature Edition everywhere: from the front fender and mudguard unit, to the tank cover with Dinamica pad parts, to the exposed structural carbon elements (replacing plastic for thoughtful aesthetics).

Wheels? Not ordinary – 17-inch "BRABUS Monoblock II EVO 'PLATINUM EDITION'” forged and CNC-machined, triple-spoke, a real eye-catcher.

The saddle is hand-upholstered with BRABUS Masterpiece leather and Dinamica microfiber panels – prestige you can see, touch and feel. Add to that the fact that each unit is numbered (“1 of 100”) and comes with exclusive accessories (interior cover, showroom mat, carbon key box) – and you get a picture of a bike that goes beyond just “driving”.

Technology and performance: powerful but thoughtful

Under the hood is the heart – a 1,350 cc LC8 V-Twin engine that produces 190 hp and 145 Nm torque. The data published this year states that the drive comes from the KTM 1390 Super Duke R Evo platform, which means that it is the best base – and BRABUS has equipped it with luxury equipment. Technical specifications also: six-speed gearbox, 17-inch wheels front and rear, seat height ~834 mm, weight without fuel ~200 kg, gross weight ~212 kg. Brake system: front 2× 320 mm disc + Brembo “Hypure” 4-piston calipers, rear 240 mm disc. WP APEX semi-active chassis with adaptive damping.

In other words: this isn't just "just" a pretty bike - it's a functional machine that can really turn heads and drive an adrenaline rush.

Exclusivity and value: for those who look further afield

Only 100 examples worldwide – this level of rarity makes it a collector's item. The price before taxes is listed as approx. €41.933 (~US$$48,000).
As I said, it's a purchase that's as much about riding as it is about aesthetics, identity and rarity. If you want your bike to be more than just "another thing" in the garage - this is the "exit call".

Idea for life (lifestyle aspect)

This bike is not for those who drive to work in city traffic every day and need maximum economy. It is for those who drive off-road on weekends and want their iron to carry both a story and an appearance. Think about it: you drive by, people don't just look at the "bike", they look at a witness who moves, holds it differently. Black carbon, exclusivity, the sound of a twin-cylinder - all this contributes to the feeling of "we have something special". If you have a collection on your side or want your bike to be not only a means of transportation, but an expression of style - then this is not a compromise, it is a choice. But if you want everyday practicality, there may be more "calm" alternatives.
