People interpret the meaning of life as we have experienced it first hand. But we often forget that behind our existence lies the history of our ancestors. And it is clear that we can only imagine this. Jimmy Nelson made this show easy for us with photographs of isolated tribes that play an important role in understanding ourselves.
Jimmy Nelson is a photographer who has been for years 2013 surprised with a collection of photos of rare tribes, published in the book Before they pass away. In the work he showed more than 30 disappearing tribes from different parts of the world. He spent several weeks with the tribes (from Mongolia to Indonesia), got to know their culture and them then caught in the lens.
It's us again this year surprised with a special collection of photos with the title Homage of Humanity. He visited 34 indigenous cultures on five continents and studied their culture. This time, in addition to photos, he also added in the book maps, your diary, interviews, interesting facts. On this way brought the culture of the tribes closer to the readers and presented the meaning of reconnecting with one's roots.
