Ljubljana is richer for another culinary festival. This time, gin lovers are in for a treat. The Ljubljana Gin Brin Festival 2019 will be held as an all-day event on May 11.
V Switzerland in Tivoli you will already witness the first one on May 11 the Ljubljana gin festival, Juniper 2019. This will bring together in one place Slovenian gin distillers, top chefs, experts in the field of distilling and mixing drinks, cuisine and glassmaking, and of course all lovers and connoisseurs who know that true pleasure is hidden in a small amount of really good things.
A rich event related to gin and juniper is about to begin already a week before the festival in the best Ljubljana bars, which they will include in their offer Brina cocktail, in which only Slovenian gin can go due to the stronger aroma of juniper. The event will reach its peak on Saturday, May 11, when from noon in Switzerland, the workshops and lectures on gin and the mixing and serving of gin cocktails, while the late afternoon and evening will be dedicated combining gin with top-quality dishes by Slovenian chefs. They will also be among them Jorg Zupan from the restaurant Atelje and Jakob Pintar from TaBar. The day will end with music and a pleasant spring gathering with gin cocktails with excellent Fever Tree tonics, which will be taken care of by the eVina team. A touch of Brine – exclusive festival glass of Steklarna Hrastnik – and all visitors will be able to take home a free gift as well.
