Bugatti Rimac: the two giants have joined forces

The Croatian star of the electric drive Rimac, the French supercar manufacturer Bugatti and the German Porsche have entered into a joint agreement and established a new company Bugatti Rimac.

On the one hand, the maker of one of the best electric cars in the world- Rhyme and on the other hand, the maker of one of the best and most technically sophisticated ″old school petrol pumps″- Bugatti. They each embody the notion of a pioneer, an innovator in their field, and in fact represent two extreme poles automotive industry. Now they have joined hands and united in a new company that will be called Bugatti Rimac.

Porsche, Rimac and Bugatti have agreed that the headquarters of the new company Bugatti Rimac will be in Zagreb, Croatia, while the headquarters of Bugatti will remain in Molsheim, France. With the new connection, Rimac now owns the company 55% by Bugatti Rimac, others 45% and the company is owned by German Porsche. Besides, you still own a Porsche 24% of Rimac, in which they invested in March 83 million euros.

The Bugatti Rimac will initially be produced two cars, the 16-cylinder Chiron, which will still be represented under the Bugatti brand, and the Nevero electric supercar, which will carry the Rimac badge. In the future, we can look forward to cars that will be the result of shared knowledge, and most likely it will be hybrids, or rather completely electrical cars.
