Cadillac, the iconic luxury vehicle manufacturer, is gearing up to launch the updated 2025 Cadillac Escalade gasoline model. This upgrade comes shortly after the unveiling of their new electric model, the Escalade IQ, which brings fresh design elements and advanced technology while maintaining the performance features that fans of this brands expect.
The new 2025 gasoline Cadillac Escalade will largely take design cues from the electric Escalade IQ. Vertical LED headlights and an illuminated Cadillac badge on the hood will be among the most prominent elements. In V-Series models and higher, the mask frame will also be illuminated, which will further emphasize the prestige of the vehicle.
For the first time, 24-inch wheels will be available on the 2025 Cadillac Escalade, with 22-inch wheels fitted as standard. Customers will be able to choose from new color shades such as Aegean Stone Green, Deep Sea Metallic Blue and Latte Metallic Light Bronze.
Advanced interior
It will be inside 2025 Cadillac Escalade equipped with an extra-large 140 cm (55 inch) screen that will stretch across the entire dashboard. The driver will have an 89 cm (35 inch) screen, while the front passenger will enjoy a 51 cm (20 inch) screen with video transmission capability. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto will be standard, and second-row passengers will have access to 32 cm (12.6-inch) touchscreens when choosing the Executive Second Row package. Magnetic Ride Control 4.0 with adaptive Air Ride suspension is included on all but the base model.
Powerful engine
The 2025 model will retain the 6.2-liter V-8 engine, producing 313 kW (420 horsepower) and 624 Nm of torque. This will be mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. Unfortunately for diesel fans, the 3.0-litre Duramax will no longer be available. The Escalade-V, however, will still offer a supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 engine that will produce 509 kW (682 horsepower) and 927 Nm of torque.
Features of the Escalade-V version
The Escalade-V will have some specific upgrades, including a more aggressive front end and a larger lower grille for improved cooling. The interior will be decorated with carbon fiber, wrapped in Jet Black leather. All but the base trims will be equipped with the latest version of Magnetic Ride Control 4.0 with Air Ride adaptive suspension, and Super Cruise will be standard on all models.
Availability and price
The 2025 Cadillac Escalade and Escalade-V will go on sale later this year, and pricing has not yet been revealed. The current 2024 model starts at $112,690 (around €103,000) with delivery included; we expect a slight price increase for the 2025 models.
