Cameras as we know them today, when in many cases they are not cameras at all in the foreground, had to travel a long way to get here. If we go back just a decade, we will quickly realize that back then photography was quite a boutique activity, whereas today everyone is a 'photographer'. Our memory is running fast, even though we have more and more of it in our cameras, so it is right to pay tribute to the fathers of the digital camera.
Today, digital cameras are considered real beauties, but that's because they have them good genes. Although it's hard to imagine, these cameras were once just wishful thinking, futurism. Today, even the cheapest cell phone has a decent knowledge of digital photography. And of course they still exist darkness, those where we develop photographs and not those where we send people to serve their sentences are as rare as photo films. Kodak. Kodak anyone? In 2014, photos are 'developed' in Photoshop, which surgically precise accounts even with such an error. It wasn't like that once. Preparation was the key. Today, you start first and only then look at what's wrong.
Although it seems this one was leap done from today to tomorrow, but the words of Twitter co-founder Biz Stone, "The right moment, persistence and ten years of garage work will end up looking like you made it overnight.", we capture the very essence of camera progress. The younger generation only really knows the last decade or two and in that time it seemed progress is really fast, but for this to happen, good foundations were needed. Do you dare to predict what will happen in 2020? Will we 'click' our eyes?
