Welcome to the camping world of the future with the Camp365 T Model. Designed for electric vehicles, this revolutionary upgrade brings exciting innovation to the overland and caravan market.
Camp365, the well-known company that launched the world's first folding cabin trailer in 2018, recently unveiled its latest model – the T Model. This particular trailer was created with electric pick-up truck owners in mind who are looking for a camping option with minimal impact on the vehicle's range.
Interestingly, the T Model weighs only between 700 and 800 kilograms, depending on the accessories chosen, and folds up while driving, which greatly reduces air resistance. The design of the trailer causes only a 5 to 10 percent loss of range, which is significantly less than competitors, where heavier loads can cause up to 50 percent loss.
When folded, the Model T takes up approximately 1.2 x 2.1 meters in the truck bed, but when unfolded, it expands to approximately 2.7 x 2.1 meters with 5.9 square meters of interior space. It offers enough comfortable sleeping space 4-5 persons with a ceiling height of 2 meters.
This model also includes a double layer of insulation with an air gap, allowing for year-round camping. A variety of sleeping options are available, including a rollaway king bed, single or bunk beds. The trailer is equipped with a full range of amenities, such as a hot water shower, sink, tap, induction cooker, electric heating and air conditioning. Other features include Starlink internet, two side canopies and a large lockable bed storage drawer.
All Camp365 units are manufactured in the USA at facilities in Iowa and Minnesota. The price of the new Model T for EV pick-up trucks starts at 25,000 euros, which is about US$27,000. Production is expected in early summer 2024
Camp365 T Model it's not just another trailer; it's your ticket to the future of camping. With a design that takes into account the needs of the modern explorer and minimal impact on the range of electric vehicles, the T Model is the perfect choice for adventurers who want to combine a love of nature with technological innovation.
